2、tofHebeiProvinceMeasuresforenvironmentalprotectionofmeteorologicalobservationinHebei(adoptedatthetwelfthexecutivesessionoftheprovincialgovernmentinSeptember24,1998)InaccordancewiththeprovisionsoftheregulationsoftheHebeiProvincialPeople'sGovernmentontherevisionofthe38provincialgov

3、ernmentregulationsgoverningtheadministrationofthewaterpermitsystemofHebeiProvince,thepresentMeasuresshallbeamendedasfollows:1.Fourthshallbeamendedasfollows:"thecompetentmeteorologicaldepartmentsatvariouslevelsshallberesponsiblefortheprotectionofthemeteorologicalsoundingenvironmen

4、twithintheirrespectiveadministrativeareasundertheleadershipofthecompetentmeteorologicaldepartmentsatthehigherlevelsandthepeople'sgovernmentsatthesamelevel."."Twoandsixthshallbeamendedas:"allunitsandindividualshavetheobligationtoprotectsuchenvirons,andhastherighttostopandreporttot

5、herelevantdepartmentsofembezzlement,theft,damageormovebehaviorofmeteorologicalsoundingfacilitiesanddestructionofthemeteorologicalenvironment."Three,seventh,anincreaseofone,asthethirdparagraph:"newconstruction,reconstructionandexpansionofmeteorologicalstationsandfacilities,shouldb

6、econsistentwiththemeteorologicalobservationenvironmentandfacilitiesprotectionstandards."."Thethirdparagraphshallbechangedintofourthsections,andshallberevisedasfollows:"thecompetentmeteorologicalauthoritiesshallrecordtheprotectionstandardsandthespecificscopeofthemeteorologicalobse

7、rvationenvironmenttotherelevantdepartmentsofthemeteorologicalstations."."Fourandeighthshallberevisedasfollows:"thestandardsfortheprotectionofthemeteorologicalenvironmentofvariousmeteorologicalstationsshallbecarriedoutinaccordancewiththerelevantregulationsofthestate."."Five,delete
