3、newflowimagingmeasurementsystem,isproposedtodescribethedistributionandmovementofoil/watertwo-phaseflowinthewellbyscanningthedetectedreglonandapplyingasuitabledataprocessingalgorithm.Theresultsofthenumericalsimulationandphysicalmodelingshowthatthesystemcouldprovideaclearimageofthefl

5、giveaccuratedescriptionsofthefluiddistributionandmovementinthewel1.Fordecades,flowimagingwellloggingtechniques,asanon-linearmeasuringmethod,havemadegreatprogresswiththedevelopmentofmeasurementscienceandcomputertechnique(YoungandJohnson.1997).ThispaperpresentsElectromagneticTomograp
6、hyWeULogging(ETWL)usingtwo—phaseflowimagingsensors,basedonmultipleelectricalimpedancemeasurements.TheelectrodeconfigurationisoptimizedtoprovideimagedinfoITI1ationofthedistributionandmovementoffluidswithintheprobe'ssensingvolume.Sotheresultscanprovideasoundfoundationfortheproduction
7、profileanddynamicanalysisofanoilreservoir.Tomographyisusedtoobtaincross.sectionalimagesoftheobjectsbynon.destructivemeans.TomographyimagingisoriginallydevelopedformedicalpurposeasanimprovementtotheexistingX-rayradiographypractices.However,thereisagrowinginterestintomographyimagingf
