4、ecifiedrightstotheWork;and·ifitchooses,toexercisetheOption;and·tobeentitledtodeveloptheWorktotheextentnecessarytoenableittoapplytofundingbodiesforfundingofaproductionversionoftheWork;and·tobeentitledtosoapplytofundingbodies.C.TheAuthorhasagreedtogranttheProducersuchrightss
5、ubjecttothetermsandconditionssetoutinthisAgreement.THEPARTIESAGREEASFOLLOWS1.DEFINITIONSANDINTERPRETATION1.1Definitions:InthisAgreementthefollowingtermsshallhavethemeaningsspecified:DevelopmentWorkmeansthepreparationofsuchstorylines,scenarios,scripts,screenplays,presentati
6、ons,treatmentsandotheradaptationsoftheWorkasarereasonablynecessaryinordertoproducetheRevisedWorkandmayextendtoadding,deletingorotherwisealteringthetitle,characters,plots,theme,dialogue,sequences,situations,orstorylineoftheWork.InitialFeemeansthefeepayableinconsiderationfor
7、theOptionassetoutinpart2oftheSchedule.InitialPeriodmeanstheperiodsetoutinpart3oftheSchedule.OptionmeansthesoleandexclusiveoptiontoacquiretherightsintheWork,assetoutinthedefinitionof‘Rights’containedinthePurchaseAgreement,inaccordancewiththetermsandconditionscontainedintheP
