3、usandstaticnotionof(extreme)poverty,andaparticularwayofdefiningtherole,scope,andfutureofmicrofinance.Thepointofdepartureforthisresearchisthatmicrofinanceengagementsoftheextremepoorarecomplexandstrategicinwaysthataredifferentfromthatofotherpovertygroups.Participationinitselftendstobelessstable,b
