3、sestrategicobjectiveistopushPLCtechnologyinallthedifferentandrelevantaspects.Withinthisframework,securityisanimportantaspectthatshouldbetakenintoaccountandintegratedintothespecificationsfromtheverybeginning.Theprojectwasscheduledintwophaseswithadurationoftwoyearseach.Phase1pro
4、ducedafirstPLCspecification,includingsecurity.Phase2producedanimprovedspecificationwhichwassubmittedtotheIEEEastheOPERAPLCproposalwithinthecontestorganizedbyWGP1901.ThepaperpresentsthestudiesrelatedtosecurityinthePLCaccesstechnologymadewithinthisprocessthatledtothesecondsecuri
