3、twortharemorelikelytohaveintegratedEOLplanscontainingbothEOLhealthandEOLfinancialplans.Itissuggestedthatpolicymakers,healthandfinancialprofessionals,andeducatorsconcernedabouttheconsequencesoftheabsenceofEOLhealthplansshouldfacilitatethejointplanningwithfinances,especially

6、efamily(BrockandFoley1998;FieldandCassel1997).Forthedyingpatients,thefinalstageoflifemaybemarkedbyphysicalpain,disability,isolationfromone’sfamilyandcommunity,andlackofpatientautonomy.Meanwhile,thedyingprocesshascriticalimpactsonthefamilymembers,whomaysufferphysicalandpsyc
