3、nescreativeproblemsolving(CPS)withscientificpeerreviewevaluationandsometypicalbusinesstools.TheChallengeThecyclestartswithaproblemorgoalwhichneedstobeformulatedintoaninnovationchallenge.Oncethisisdone,thechallengeispresentedtotheproblemsolvinggroup.Thismaybedoneintheformofabrainstorminge
4、vent,ideascampaignorotheractivity.Thegroupproblemsolvinggroupmaybeateam,allemployeesinthefirm,thepublicoranyothergroupofpeople.CollaborationInordertomaximisethecreativepotentialoftheproblemsolvinggroup,theideagenerationactivityshouldbecollaborativeinnature.Thiscanbeaccomplishedinmanyways
5、.Ideamanagementandinnovationprocessmanagementsoftwareoftenprovideson-linecollaborationtools,whilefacilitatorsofbrainstormingandotherideationeventsshouldpromotecollaborativeideadevelopment.CombinationBecauseaninnovationprocesscyclestartswithachallenge,ideastendtobeinterrelatedandmanyareco
6、mplementary.Hence,beforegoingfurther,itisbesttocombinesuchcomplementaryideasintolarger,moresophisticatedideassothattheycanbehandledasasinglepackage.Thismakesthenextstepsinthecyclemoreefficient.ScientificPeerReviewEvaluationHereiswherealotofinnovationinitiativesbreakdown:choosingthebestid
