4、yjoinedtheRomanCatholicchurch.In1865here-marriedhissecondwifeMarianneByles.Mariannediedin1880.In1881hemarriedHarrietRobson.TheirsonFranciswasbornin1882.InlateryearshelivedatLymington,wherehediedin1896.HewasburiedinLymingtonchurchyard.In1839hewassenttoschoolinFranceforsixmo
5、nths,wherehebegantowritepoetry.In1844hepublishedasmallvolumeofPoems,whichwasnotsoldwell.Patmore,distressedatitsreception,boughtuptheremainderoftheeditionanddestroyedit.In1853herepublishedTamertonChurchTower,themoresuccessfulofhispiecesfromPoemsof1844,addingseveralnewpoemsw
