3、dsthatwillcouplewiththeinsitustressfield.Anincreasedshearstressmaycauseseriouscasingstabilityissue,andcasingintegrityisoneofthemajorissuesinthedevelopmentofanoilfield.Inthisthesis,Iwillpresentamethodologyforsemi-quantitativelyaddressingthephysicalprocesses,theoccurrence,andthekeyinfluentialf
4、actorsassociatedwithlarge-areacasingshearissuesinDaqingOilfield.Intheresearch,Iwillinvestigatereservoirheterogeneityandthefar-fieldstressfieldintheDaqingOilfield,China;Iwillreviewfundamentaltheoriesofrockstrength,rockfailure,casingshear,andtechniquesforcouplingfluidflowandmechanicalresponseo
5、fthereservoirs;andIwillpresentmathematicalsimulationsoflarge-areacasingshearinonetypicalarea(X1-3B)inDaqingOilfield,underdifferentregimesofwater-affectedshalearearatioandblockpressuredifference.HeterogeneityinDaqingOilfieldvariesaccordingtothescale.Mega-heterogeneityisnottooserious:thegeomet
6、ryoftheoilfieldissimple,thestructureisflat,andfaultsarenumerousandcomplex,butdistributedevenly.Macro-heterogeneityis,however,intense.Horizontalmacro-heterogeneityisassociatedwithlateralvariationsbecauseofdifferentdepositionalfacies.Verticalmacro-heterogeneityofDaqingOilfieldbecauseoflayering
