3、umofPMSMswiththeaimofdevelopinganeffectivecondition-moni-toringscheme.Harmonicsofthestatorcurrentsinducedbythefaultconditionsareexamined.Simulationbymeansofatwo-dimensionalfinite-elementanalysis(FEA)softwarepackageandexperimentalresultsarepresentedtosubstantiatethesuccessfulappl
4、icationoftheproposedmethodoverawiderangeofmotoroperationconditions.Methodsbasedoncontinuouswavelettransform(CWT)anddiscretewavelettransform(DWT)havebeensuccessfullyappliedtodetectandtodiscriminatedemagnetizationfaultsinPMSMmotorsundernonstationaryconditions.Additionally,areduce
