3、agnetizationonthecurrentspectrumofPMSMswiththeaimofdevelopinganeffectivecondition-moni-toringscheme.Harmonicsofthestatorcurrentsinducedbythefaultconditionsareexamined.Simulationbymeansofatwo-dimensionalfinite-elementanalysis(FEA)softwarepackageandexperimentalresul
4、tsarepresentedtosubstantiatethesuccessfulapplicationoftheproposedmethodoverawiderangeofmotoroperationconditions.Methodsbasedoncontinuouswavelettransform(CWT)anddiscretewavelettransform(DWT)havebeensuccessfullyappliedtodetectandtodiscriminatedemagnetizationfaultsi
5、nPMSMmotorsundernonstationaryconditions.Additionally,areducedsetofeasy-to-computediscriminatingfeaturesforbothCWTandDWTmethodshasbeendefined.Wehaveshowntheeffectivenessoftheproposedmethodbymeansofexperimentalresults.IndexTerms—Demagnetization,faultdiagnosis,finite-
