3、ironmentFacility(PRC/GEF)PartnershiponLDControlofDrylandEcosystems”,whichisbasedonanintegratedecosystemmanagement(IEM)approach.IEMisdesignedtoachieveabalanced,scientificandparticipatoryapproachtonaturalresourcesmanagement,whichcreatesthepotentialtoimprovethequalityofChineseenvironmenta
4、llawandpolicyprocedures.ThepaperstudiestheexistingChinesenationallawsandregulationspertinenttoLDcontrolwithin9areascoveringland,desertification,soilerosion,grassland,forest,water,agriculture,wildanimalsandplants,andenvironmentprotectionindetail,againstIEMprinciplesandbasiclegalelements
