3、esobservationaltechniques–participant/fieldobservation,interactivediscussionandphotographiccapturing,wasusedforcollectionofdataonlanddegradationinthestudyarea.Analysisofcollecteddatashowedlandgradients,rainfallandrun-offs,erosion,entrenchedfootpaths,sandscraping/mining,poor/absenceofdrainagesystem
4、andlandcoversascausalfactorsoflanddegradationinthestudyarea.Thestudythoughobservedthatcontrolmeasuressuchasfillingofdrencheswithsandbags,woodlogs,bricksandstoneswereemployedbyresidentsinthestudyarea,constructionofgooddrainagesystemwaspresumedtobethemostappropriateandsustainablecontrolmeasureofwate
