3、gnificantchallengeforefficientspectrumallocationincognitiveradio150Kbps50Kbps[1][3]networks.ObservingthatspectrumresourcecanbebettermatchedtotrafficdemandofsecondaryuserswiththehelpofS1[1,2]S2[2,3,4]S1S2relaynodethathasrichspectrumresource,inthispaperweexploitanewresearchdire

4、ctionforcognitiveradionetworks(a)Channelanddemand.(b)OFDMAtransmission.byutilizingcooperativerelaytoassistthetransmissionandimprovespectrumefficiency.Aninfrastructure-basedsecondarynetworkarchitecturehasbeenproposedtoleveragerelay-assistedAPAPdiscontiguousOFDM(D-OFDM)fordat

5、atransmission.Inthisarchitecture,relaynodewillbeselectedwhichcanbridgethe[1][3,4][1]sourceandthedestinationusingitscommonchannelsbetweenthosetwonodes.Withtheintroductionofcooperativerelay,manyuniqueproblemsshouldbeconsidered,especiallytheissueforS1S2S1[2]S2relayselectionan

6、dspectrumallocation.Weproposeacentral-(c)Cooperativerelaytransmission(leftintimeslot1,rightintimeslot2).izedheuristicsolutiontoaddressthenewresourceallocationproblem.TodemonstratethefeasibilityandperformanceofFig.1.AnExampleforthedemandimprovementusingcooperativerelaycoope
