4、ayofthanksgivingforthewholenationtocelebrate.GeorgeWashingtonsuggestedthedateNovember26asThanksgivingDay.Thenin1863,attheendofalongandbloodycivilwar,AbrahamLincolnaskedallAmericanstosetasidethelastThursdayinNovemberasadayofthanksgivinganditbecomesadifferentdateeveryyear.ThePresidentmustproc
