5、iminationandSexualHarassmentSmith-Barney,aWallStreetbrokeragefirm,agreedtospend$15millionoverfouryearstoincreasediversityinthefirm.Aspartofthesettlementofalawsuit,thefirmagreedoverathreeyeartimeperiodtoraisethepercentageoffemalebrokersinitstrainingclassesto33%ofthetotal,andtohave25%ofitsin

6、vestmentbankertrainingclassescomposedoffemales.Atthetime,only14.5%ofthe15,000Smith-Barneybrokerswerewomen.MitsubishiMotorspaid$34milliontosettleaclass-actionsexualharassmentlawsuitfiledby350currentandformerfemaleemployees.Thissettlementwasthelargestclass-actionsettlementeverpaidforsexualha
