3、esforaselectivetreatmentofcancer.Theintroductionpresentsthecurrentstateoftheartonanticancerresearch.Beside,inthefollowingsubheadingswesummarizeourresearchoncytotoxicnaturalquinonemethide-triperpenesandtheiranalogues.Wealsodiscussourresultsontheanti-tumourpromotingactivity
4、ofnaturalnaphthoquinonesandtheirderivatives.1.INTRODUCTIONmoleculelibrariescanbeusedtoidentifyandstudypreviouslyunknowntargets[17-18].Thetraditionalmedicinesystems,basedonplants,havebeenusedallovertheworldforthousandsofyears[1-4].Despitetheever-increasingdemandofnewnatura
5、lTheseplantbasedsystemscontinuetoplayanessentialroleproducts,theirisolationandstructureelucidationstillremaininhealthcare.TheWHO(WorldHealthOrganization)alabor-intensiveprocess[8,19-20].Asanalternative,estimatesthatapproximately80%oftheworld’sinhabitantschemistsarenowenli
6、stingthetoolsofsolid-phasecombi-relymainlyontraditionalmedicinefortheirprimaryhealthnatorialsynthesistoconstructlibrariesofnaturalproductcare[5-6].Toalargeextent,theuseofnaturalproductsinanaloguesandnaturalproductlikecompounds[21-23].Theredrugdesignrepresentsthenaturalevo
