3、fficientincentivemode.Inordertoconstructefficientincentivemechanismfromthelayoffmechanism,thethesisputstheexogenouslayoffprobabilityorendogeneticlayoffprobabilitylinkedwithperformanceintotheincentivemodel.Severalprincipal-agentincentivemodelsarerespectivelybuiltupcomprisinglay
4、offprobability,aimedatthesimilaritiesanddifferencesofemployees,whetherthemodeofprofitshareissetupornot,andevensymmetryorasymmetryinformationoftheemployees’abilities.Inthesemodels,boththeprincipal(owner)arerisk-neutral,andtheagents(employees)arealsorisk-neutralorrisk-averse.The
5、researchshowsthatasymmetryinformationcancausesluggishbehaviourforthesametypeofemployees,theexogenouslayoffprobabilitycanrestrainlabourpositivityandthreatentheefficientlabouroftheemployees,andreducetheagentcost.Whileendogeneticlayoffprobabilitycannotimpactonthefunctionoftheasse
6、mbledmechanismsconsistingofpromotionandfixedincomeunderasymmetryinformation,whichcanavoidthemoralriskofemployeestoachievethesamedegreeoftheirlabourundersymmetryinformation.Theendogeneticlayoffprobabilitycharacteristicofevaluatingperformanceenablesemployeeswithdifferenttypestow
