3、d,accordingly,thedesignofafurnacedevicewhennewinstallationsaredesigned.Thesecondinvolvesmodernizationofalreadyexistingequipment.Inbothcases,thetechnicalsolutionsbeingadoptedmustbeproperlysubstantiatedwiththeuseofbothexperimentalandcalculationstudies.Theexper
4、ienceCentralBoiler-TurbineInstituteResearchandProductionAssociation(TsKTI)andZiOspecialistsgainedfromoperationofboilersandexperimentalinvestigationstheycarriedoutonmodelsallowedthemtoproposeseveralnewdesignsofmultifuelandmaneuverable—inotherwords,controllabl
5、e—furnacedevicesthathadbeenputinoperationatpowerstationsforseveralyears.Alongwiththis,anapproximatezero-one-dimensional,zonewisecalculationmodelofthefurnaceprocessinboilershadbeendevelopedattheTsKTI,whichallowedTsKTIspecialiststocarryoutengineeringcalculatio
6、nsofthemainparametersofthisprocessandcalculatestudiesoffurnacesemployingdifferenttechnologiesoffiringandcombustionmodes.Naturally,furnaceprocessadjustmentmethodslikechangingtheairexcessfactor,stackgasrecirculationfraction,anddistributionoffuelandairamongthet
7、iersofburners,aswellasotheroperationswrittenintheboileroperationalchart,areusedduringboileroperation.However,theeffecttheyhaveontheprocessislimitedinnature.Ontheotherhand,controlofthefurnaceprocessinaboilerimpliesthepossibilityofmakingsubstantialchangesinthe
8、conditionsunderwhichthecombustionandheattransferproceedinordertoconsiderablyexpandtherangeofloads,minimizeheatlosses,reducetheextenttowhichthefurnaceiscontaminatedwithslag,decreasetheemissionsof
