3、problemhastwoaspects.Thefirstinvolvesdevelopmentofacombustiontechnologyand,accordingly,thedesignofafurnacedevicewhennewinstallationsaredesigned.Thesecondinvolvesmodernizationofalreadyexistingequipment.Inbothcases,thetechnicalsolutionsbeingadoptedmustbeproperlysubstantiatedwith
4、theuseofbothexperimentalandcalculationstudies.TheexperienceCentralBoiler-TurbineInstituteResearchandProductionAssociation(TsKTI)andZiOspecialistsgainedfromoperationofboilersandexperimentalinvestigationstheycarriedoutonmodelsallowedthemtoproposeseveralnewdesignsofmultifuelandma
5、neuverable—inotherwords,controllable—furnacedevicesthathadbeenputinoperationatpowerstationsforseveralyears.Alongwiththis,anapproximatezero-one-dimensional,zonewisecalculationmodelofthefurnaceprocessinboilershadbeendevelopedattheTsKTI,whichallowedTsKTIspecialiststocarryoutengin
6、eeringcalculationsofthemainparametersofthisprocessandcalculatestudiesoffurnacesemployingdifferenttechnologiesoffiringandcombustionmodes.Naturally,furnaceprocessadjustmentmethodslikechangingtheairexcessfactor,stackgasrecirculationfraction,anddistributionoffuelandairamongthetier
7、sofburners,aswellasotheroperationswrittenintheboileroperationalchart,areusedduringboileroperation.However,theeffecttheyhaveontheprocessislimitedinnature.Ontheotherhand,controlofthefurnaceprocessinaboilerimpliesthepossibilityofmakingsubstantialchangesintheconditionsunderwhichth
