3、ofilesofundrainedshearstrengths,inactive(A),directsimpleshear(D)andpassive(P)modesofloadingarecomplicated.ThispaperpresentstheelastoplasticconstitutivemodelNGI-ADPwhichisbasedontheundrainedshearstrengthapproachwithdirectinputofshearstrengths.Consequently,exactmatchwithde
4、signundrainedshearstrengthsprofilesisobtainedandthewell-knownanisotropyofundrainedshearstrengthandstiffnessisaccountedforintheconstitutivemodel.Anon-linearstresspath-dependenthardeningrelationshipisused,definedfromdirectinputoffailurestrainsinthethreedirectionsofshearingr
5、epresentedbytriaxialcompression,directsimpleshearandtriaxialextension.Withitsclearinputparametersthemodelhassignificantadvantagesfordesignanalysisofundrainedproblems.Theconstitutivemodelisimplemented,intofiniteelementcodes,withanimplicitintegrationscheme.Itsperformanceisd
