4、ors—cold,heat,drought,waterlogging,salinity,ozonetreatment,hypoxiaandKeywords:anoxia,herbicidetreatments,inadequateorexcessivelightconditions,disbalancesinmineralPlantproteomenutrition,enhancedconcentrationsofheavymetals,radioactivityandmechanicalwoundingareAbioticstressdiscussed.Moststudieshavebeen
5、carriedoutonmodelplantsArabidopsisthalianaandriceduetoStresstolerancelargeproteinsequencedatabasesavailable;however,thevarietyofplantspeciesusedforProteinbiomarkersproteomicsanalysesisrapidlyincreasing.Proteinresponsepathwayssharedbydifferentplantspeciesundervariousstressconditions(glycolyticpathway
6、,enzymesofascorbate–glutathionecycle,accumulationofLEAproteins)aswellaspathwaysuniquetoagivenstressarediscussed.Resultsfromproteomicsstudiesareinterpretedwithrespecttophysiologicalfactorsdeterminingplantstressresponse.Inconclusion,examplesofapplicationofproteomicsstudiesinsearchforproteinmarkersunde
