2、otes,bronzecoin,anduncoinedsilvertoaunifiedpapercurrencysystemestablishedbytheMongolYuandynasty.Consequently,China’slong-standingbronzecoinstandardwasreplacedbyanewmoneyofaccountdenominatedinsilver.However,silverlargelydisappearedasamediumofexchangeunderYuanrule.Instead,silverunitsof
3、accountwereusedtodenominatepapercurrency.ThemonetarypoliciesoftheMongolYuanstateestablishedasilverunitofaccountthatremainedthemonetarystandardthroughoutChina’slateimperialera.EntreleXIIeetleXIVesiècle,lesystèmemonétairedelaChineconnutunchangementprofond:lepluralismemonétaire,compren
