3、ofChinaistheseabeltadjacenttothelandterritoryandtheinternalwatersofthePeople'sRepublicofChina.ThelandterritoryofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaincludesthemainlandofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaanditscoastalislands;Taiwanandallislandsappertainingtheretoincluding

4、theDiaoyuIslands;thePenghuIslands;theDongshaIslands;theXishaIslands;theZhongshaIslandsandtheNanshaIslands;aswellasalltheotherislandsbelongingtothePeople'sRepublicofChina.ThewatersonthelandwardsideofthebaselinesoftheterritorialseaofthePeople'sRepublicofC

5、hinaconstitutetheinternalwatersofthePeople'sRepublicofChina.Article3ThebreadthoftheterritorialseaofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaistwelvenauticalmiles,measuredfromthebaselinesoftheterritorialsea.Themethodofstraightbaselinescomposedofallthestraightlinesjoini

6、ngtheadjacentbasepointsshallbeemployedindrawingthebaselinesoftheterritorialseaofthePeople'sRepublicofChina.TheouterlimitoftheterritorialseaofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaisthelineeverypointofwhichisatadistanceequaltotwelvenauticalmilesfromthenearestpointof
