5、pertriestofindoutthesimilaritiesanddifferencesbetweenChineseandEnglishthroughcontrastiveanalysis,soastofindouttheinfluencesofChineseintoEnglish.Theseinfluencesareeitherpositiveornegative.Theyareseparatelyknownaspositivetransferandnegativetransfer.Positivetransferisgoodfo

6、rtheacquisitionofEnglish,itcanfacilitatethelearningofEnglish,whereasnegativetransferisablockingstoneforEnglishlanguageacquisition,itmaypostponetheprocessofEnglishlanguageacquisition.Basedontheseconcepts,thispapertriestoanalyzetheL1transferphenomenoninChinesestudents’Engl
