2、tiveresearchhaveincreasinglybecomeparadigmaticimportantindifferentdisciplinesofsocialscience，itisquitenecessaryforstudentsofsocialsciencestocatchupwhatthecurrentdebatesonmethodologies.Throughthiscourse，studentsarecapableofhandlingthebasictechniqueofqualitativ

3、emethods.Format（教學形式）：Sincethisisagraduateseminarcourse，studentsarerequiredtoparticipateindiscussionactively.Lectureswillbeinterwovenwithdiscussionsbyusingtheexemplarworksofsomeclassicsofethnography.Sostudentsarerequiredtopreparethereadingbeforetheclass.Requi
