5、technologiesemphasizetheneedforautomateddiscoveryofspatiotemporalknowledge.Spatiotemporaldataminingstudiestheprocessofdiscoveringinterestingandpreviouslyunknown,butpotentiallyusefulpatternsfromlargespatiotemporaldatabases.Ithasbroadapplicationdomainsincludingecologyandenvironmentalmana
6、gement,publicsafety,transportation,earthscience,epidemiology,andclimatology.Thecomplexityofspatiotemporaldataandintrinsicrelationshipslimitstheusefulnessofconventionaldatasciencetechniquesforextractingspatiotemporalpatterns.Inthissurvey,wereviewrecentcomputationaltechniquesandtoolsinsp
