2、tionofthe"lifeline",atthesametime,theYellowRiveristhesecondlargestriverinChina,becauseofthegeographicalrelations,andwaterresourcesisrelativelytightRiver,itswaterresourcesutilizationrateisthehighestriver.In1990s,theYellowRiverstoppedrunningforseveralyears,
3、causingseriousimpactsontheestuaryofthelowerreachesoftheYellowRiverandattractedwidespreadattention.Inrecentyears,thewaterresourcesintheYellowRiverhavebeenoperatedbythewholeriverinaunifiedway.Althoughtheproblemofwatercuthasbeeneffectivelysolved,thediversion
4、ofwaterintheestuaryisstilldifficulttoguarantee,andthisshouldbepaidfullattentionto.I.GeneralSituationofwaterresourcesintheYellowRiverTheYellowRiverQinghaiplateauoriginatedinthenorthernfootofBayankalamountainelevation4500Midiyuegouzoncolumnbasin,flowsthroug
5、hQinghai,Sichuan,Gansu,Ningxia,InnerMongolia,Shaanxi,Shanxi,Henan,Shandongnineprovinces(regions),intotheBohaiRiver,5464kilometersinlength,watershedareaof752thousandand400squarekilometers.TheYellowRiverisanimportantwatersourceinthenorthwestandNorthChina,wi
6、thanaturalannualrunoffof58billioncubicmeters,ofwhich55billion900millioncubicmetersareinthemouthofthegardenand32billion300millioncubicmetersintheLanzhousection.MorethanLanzhouandLongmentoSanmenxiarange,runoffaccountedfor75%oftheriver.TheYellowRiverbasinisl
7、ocatedinaridandsemiaridregions,relativelyscarcerainfall,theaverageannualprecipitationis478mm,duetotheimpactofclimate,annualprecipitationchangedgreatlyinthetimeallocatedto80%,65%fromsixtoOctoberprecipitationaccountedforannualprecipitation,precipitationinth
8、eheydayofsevenoreight.60%oftherunoffintheYellowRiverisconcentratedinthefloodseasonforsevenoreightor93months.InordertoslowdownsedimentdepositioninthelowerreachesofthetheYellowRiverRiver,200-24billioncubicmetersofwate
