5、ingaccuraciesofonepartpermillion(ppm)orbetteroverdistancesfromonekilometertothousandsofkilometersarepossible.ThismeansthatGPScancompetewithterrestrialtechniquesovershortdistances,andcanachievemoreaccurateresultsinlesstimethanTRANSITobservationsoverlongerdistances.GPSwasde
