2、op,everyenterpriseneedhighlyproductiveemployeestoimproveefficiency.Therefore,asetofemployeesmotivatingmechanismseemsquitesignificantforbusiness.Forthispaper,motivationisdefinedastheinnerforcethatdrivesindividualstoaccomplishpersonalandorganizationalgoals.Ithasbeenwidelyacceptedthatmotivationi
3、sthekeytoperformanceimprovement,whichisalsogoesforworkplace.AstudybyWilliamJamesinHarvardUniversityshowsthat,intheabsenceofincentives,thesubordinatescanonlyexertageneralabilitytoworkby20%~30%,andwhenheisinspired,hisabilitytoworkcanberaisedto80%~90%,wheretheroleofincentivesis3-4timesofprevious
4、situation(Wang,2007). However,workerstodayaremotivatedbymanydifferentintentionsforeachindividualisunique,everyonehavedifferentneeds,potential,values,attitudesandgoals.Themostimportantaspectthatmostworkersareconcernedaboutistheirwantsanddesires.Itisimportanttoidentifyemployees'wantsanddesiresw
5、hichincludes(1)praise,rewardsandrecognition-oftenemployeesfeelthattheygetnoticedonlyforthethingstheydowrong,notforthethingstheydoright;(2)jobsecurity&goodworkingconditions;(3)opportunitytoadvanceandgainnewexperiences;(4)communication-toknowwheretheystandintheeyesoftheiremployersandwhatisdoner
6、ightorwrong;(5)tofeelinvolvedinthecompany-totakepartinmakingdecision(Motivationatwork,n.d).Thenthefollowingforabusinessistomotivateitsemployees,satisfyingtheir needs.Butifthemanagerscastanindifferenteyeontheissue,intheshortrunalackofmotivationmayleadtoreducedeffortandlackofcommitment.Ifemploy
