3、fultothestudents’Englishotestheleveloftheothertonguecancausemanyerrorssuchasthelanguageknoeteachersdidn’tpayenoughattentiontothemothertonguetransferintheEnglishanyresearchesaboutthetransfertheoryintheacademiceandabroad,buttheempiricalstudiesareless,especiallytheresearch
4、esaboutthetransfertheoryandtheseniorhighschoolstudents’Englishpiricalstudy,suchas:themothertransfertheory,contrastiveanalysis,errorsanalysistheory,markednesstheoryandinter-languagetheoryetc.Therefore,theempiricalstudiesofthemothertonguetransferoftheEnglishan(1976)affirm
5、edthemothertongue’sinfluenceoflanguagelearning.HepointedoutthatthereisnotanyarticleinJapanese,theydon’thaveareferencesubstanceothertongue,theformersaremorelikelytomakemistakesaboutthearticles.Ringbom(1978)claimedthattheSakemostvocabularymistakesbecauseoftheinfluencesofs
6、omeequivalenttranslationintheirsecondlanguagelearning.oted.Bhela(1999)madeacasestudyabouttheinfluenceofnegativetransferofnativelanguageinthelearningofthesecondlanguage,andthefocusofstudyistheinfluenceofthene-->gativetransferofnativelanguageforthesentencestructureinthese
