5、harboringcry２Agene)forthreegenerations(５hforeverygeneration)wereinvestigatedtounderstandtheresponseofC．medinalistoBtrice．Resultsshowedthatdevelopmentaldurationof３rd－５thinstarC．medinalisfedonBtriceleavesinthe１stgenerationwereprolongedandtheemergenceratesofC．medinalissharplydecreasedcomparedwithth
6、euntreatedC．medinalis．However,thesetwoindicesreturnedtotheleveloftheuntreatedC．medinaliswiththeincreasinggenerations．Themortalitiesofthe３rd－５thinstarC．medinalislarvaeandtheweightoffemalepupalowered,andtheweightofmalepupadidnotdifferfromthatofuntreatedC．medinalis．Furthermore,themortalityofthe３rd－
