4、aandpopulationbiomassproductionwereinvestigatedundertheiroptimumNlevelswith3representativejaponicavarieties[highNuseefficiencyandhighyield(HNUEHY),mediumNuseefficiencyandhighyield(MNUEHY),highNuseefficiencyandmediumyield(MNUEMY)]asmaterial.【Result】Numberofstemsandtillersincrease
5、dslowlytothepeakinjointingstageofHNUEHY,andthendecreasedgentlywiththehighestpercentageofproductivetillers.TheleafareaindexesofHNUEHYandHNUEMYwerethehighestandlowestatheadingstage.TheleafareaindexofHNUEHYwere2.53%and2.58%higherthanthatofMNUEHYandHNUEMY.Theorderofeffectiveleafarea
6、indexwasHNUEHY>HNUEMY>MNUEHY,theorderofhigheffectiveleafareaindexwasMNUEHY>HNUEHY>HNUEMY.Fromheadingtomaturitystage,thephotosyntheticpotentialsofHNUEHYandMNUEHYwere10.58%and9.86%higherthanthatofHNUEMY,showingnoobviousdifferencebetweeneachother.ThetotaldrymatteraccumulationofHNUE
7、HYwasslightlylowerthanthatofMNUEHY.Fromheadingtomaturitystage,thedrymatteraccumulationsincreasedwithincreasingyieldlevelwiththehighestratioforHNUEHY.Beforejointingstage,thecropgrowthrateofHNUEHYwaslowerthanthatofMNUEHY.Afterjoiningstage,thecropgrowthrateofHNUEHYwere8.79%and17.46
8、%higherthanthatofMNUEHYandHNUEMY.【Conclusion】Th
