2、adeofmultinationalcompaniesintheUnitedStates,JapanandEuropeaccountedfor97%ofthetotaltechnologytradeintheworld.ThereportpointedoutthatalthoughforeigndirectinvestmentinChinafellfourpercentintwoto00insixyears,butthisismainlyduetothetwo00fiveyearstherehasbeenahugeincrease,Chinesecontinuetoa
3、ttractforeigndirectinvestmentindevelopingcountries.However,thereportalsopointedoutthatinthefirsthalfoftwo,00,sevenyears,globalcross-bordermergersandacquisitionsincreasedbynearlysixtypercentoverthesameperiodlastyear.Thereisnodoubtthattransnationalcorporations'directinvestmentinChinawillf
4、aceanewstageoftechnologicaltransfertohostcountries.Howtoovercomefrommultinationaltechnologyintothemonopolybarriers,howtoachieveeffectivetechnologytransferintheinternationalizationofdomesticcooperationwithmultinationalcorporationsinthenewperiod,willundoubtedlyneedtorethinkthenewstageofmu
5、ltinationalcompaniesindevelopingcountriesofthetechnologytransferstrategychange.First,weshouldconcludeaknowledgealliancecenteredontechnologicalresearchanddevelopmentAttheendofthe1970s,multinationalcorporationstookproductsasthecoretoformstrategicalliances.Theaimwastorealizeeconomiesofscal
6、e,reducethecostofproducts,improvethequalityofsupplyandimprovetheefficiencyofsupply.Afterenteringin90s,duetothespeedoftechnologicalprogress,acceleratetheshorteningofproductlifecycleandthenewtrendofmanyhigh-techindustriesconvergencedevelopment,evenoligopolisticenterprisesisdifficultinallf
