3、gtheeffectsofenhancingprospectiveEFLteachers’timemanagementstrategiesontheirteachingperformanceandinstructionalself-efficacybeliefs.Thesampleofthestudyincludedacohortof36EFLstudent-teachersdoingtheirteachingpracticeatSaudiintermediateschools.Theywere

4、equallydividedintoanexperimentalgroupandacontrolone.Theexperimentalgroupstudentsparticipatedinactionresearch-basedtrainingintimemanagementstrategieswhilethecontrolgroupstudentsdidnotreceivesuchtraining.Bytheendoftheexperiment,bothgroupswerepost-evalu

5、atedfortheirteachingpracticesandinstructionalself-efficacybeliefs.Findingsofthestudyindicatedthatprospectiveteacherswhoweretrainedintimemanagementstrategiesoutperformedtheircontrolpeersintheirteachingpractices,i.e.theyweremoreabletocreatelearner-base

6、dclassroomenvironmentsandtoenhancetheirstudents’leaningmomentum.Likewise,theydevelopedamorepositivesenseofinstructionalself-efficacyreflectedinstrongerbeliefsintheircapabilitiestousemoreeffectiveinstructionalstrategies,tomanagetheirclassesinwaysthatm

7、aximizeproductivestudentlearningandtogetstudentsengagedmoreefficientlyintheteaching/learningencounters.Recommendationsforteachereducation,curriculumdevelopmentandteachingpracticumareprovidedalongwithsuggestionsforfurtherresearch.INTRODUCTIONEFLteache
