2、ecthandbookIntroductionThepurposeofthehandbookistoguidetheprojectteamintheperformanceofitsduties,whicharethedesign,constructionandcompletionofaprojecttotherequiredspecificationswithintheapprovedparametersofthecontractbudgetandtoschedule.Inpracticeaprojecthandbo

3、okshouldbeconcise,clearandconsistentwithallothercontractdocumentationandtermsofengagement.Theemphasisshouldbetoiden-tifypolicies,strategiesandthelinesofcommunicationandkeyinterfacesbetweenthevariousparties.Itisimportantthatthehandbookistailoredtofittheneedsofea

4、chproject.Thecomprehensiveformatgivenherewouldbetoobulkyforsomeprojects,withthedangerofitbeingignored.Thehandbookispreparedbytheprojectmanagerinconsultationwiththeprojectteamwherepossibleatthebeginningofthepre-constructionstageanddescribesthegeneralprocedurest
