4、aracteristicsofelectric-ity,itsproductionandconsumptionmusttakeplaceLiberalizationoftheelectricitysectorintheNordicsimultaneously.Storagepossibilitiesarestillfewand/orcountriesproceededrapidlyduringthe1990softhelastexpensive(PernerandRiechmann,1997).Thecompet-millennium.Norwayliberalizedits

6、nconstitutetheso-calledmonopolisticbottlenecks(Knieps,1996and1997,respectively.2001).Hence,theseportionsofthemarketstillrequireLiberalizationoftheelectricitymarketmeantthatregulationtopreventthemfrom(ab)usingtheirmarketthegenerationandsalesofelectricitybecamecompet-power.Successfulregulatio
