3、rategicmanagementfieldcreatestheriskofincoherenceandfragmentationandthebeliefthatresearchreviewscouldcontributetosynthesisandintegration.Inthisintroductoryessay,weaddresstheexpandingdomainofstrategicmanagement,considerwhereitsboundarieslie,identifytheforcesengenderingfragmentation,anddiscus
4、showthisspecialissue—andresearchreviewsingeneral—canassistconvergencewithinthefieldofstrategy.Weconcludebyaddressingthepotentialforintegrationmorebroadlyinrelationtothetheorieswedeploy,thephenomenaweinvestigate,andcohesivenessofourscholarlycommunity.Managerialsummary:Theexpandingdomainofstr
