5、Ananoparticlesuperlattices.Here,thesinglecrystallineDNAnanoparticlesuperlatticesarestudied,forthefirsttime,inseveralimportantnano-photonicaspectssuchasstronglight-surfaceplasmoncoupling,crystalhabit-drivenlightscatteringandfocusing,andexciton-surfaceplasmoninterac

6、tion.Chapter1introducestheopticallyrelevantdegreesoffreedominsinglecrystallineDNAnanoparticlesuperlattices,afterbrieflyreviewingthesyntheticaspectsofDNAnanoparticlesuperlattices.Then,theoverviewandsignificanceofthisworkarediscussed.Chapter2discussesstronglight-sur

7、faceplasmoncouplingwithingoldnanoparticlesuperlattices.Anunconventionalphotonicbandgap(polaritonicgap)isestablishedduetothestrongcouplingratherthanthecrystaltranslationalsymmetry(Bragggap).Particularly,tunabilityofthecouplingstrengthisdemonstratedbycontrollingcrys
