4、featureisalmostfreefromtheeffectsofscale,rotationandtranslationfortheinputimages[1].Colorsincolorfulimagescanbedefinedbydifferentcolorspacemodels,suchasRGBspace,CMYspace,I1I2I3space,YUVspaceandHSIspace.Amongtheabovecolorspaces,RGBisthebasicandthemostco
5、mmononeandcanreadilybemappedintoothercolorspaces.However,RGBspaceisnon-uniformforcolorperceptionandistooeasilyinfluencedbylight.ThethreecolorcomponentsofRGBspacearecorrelatedwitheachother[2].CMYspacerepresentscolorsbythecomplementarycomponentofRGBcompo
6、nents.YUVspace,frequentlyusedincolorTVsystems,usesthreechannelsasY,UandVtodefinethepixel.Yarethebrightnessinformation,UandVarethecolordifferencewhichdenotestheoverallcolordifferenceinsteadofthedifferencebetweenthethreecomponentsofRGB.HSIspaceisauniform
7、onewhichconsiststothehumanperceptionofcolors.Itsthreecomponentsaremutuallyindependentandcanperceivecolorchangeofeachcomponentrespectively.Butnon-lineartransforminHSIspacemayleadsubstantialcomputationaswellassingularityofthecolorspacewhenthesaturationis
