5、salsorecommendsa5μmorfinercoolantfilter.Anotherrecommendationistomachineapilot,orguide,holetopreventthetoolfromwanderingontopoftheworkpieceandaidinproducingastraighthole.Whenapplyingapilotdrill,it’simportanttoselectonewithanincludedangleonitspointthat’sequaltoorlargerthantheincludeda
6、ngleonthethrough-coolantdrillthatfollows.Thepilotdrill’sdiametershouldalsobeslightlylarger.Forexample,ifthepilotdrillhasa120°includedangleandasmallerdiameterthanathrough-coolantdrillwitha140°includedangle,“thenyou’recatchingthecoolant-feddrill’scornersandknockingthosecornersoff,”Davi
