5、stemsandcurrentresearch．Someattractivecloudapplicationsarealsodiscussed．Cloudcomputinginfrastructurehasthreedistinctcharacteristics．First．theinfrastructureiSbuiltontopoflargescaleclusterswhichcontainalargenumberofcheapPCservers．Second，theapplicationsareCO—designedwiththefundame

6、ntalinfrastructurethatthecomputingresourcescanbemaximallyutilized．Third，thereliabilityofthewholesystemisachievedbysoftwarebuildingontopofredundanthardwareinsteadofmerehardware．Allthesetechnologiesareforthetwoimportantgoalsfordistributedsystem：highscalabilityandhighavailability．

7、Scalabilitymeansthatthecloudinfrastructurecallbeexpandedtoverylargescaleeventothousandsofnodes．Availabilitymeansthattheservicesareavailableevenwhenquitcanumberofnodesfail．Fromthispaper,readerswillcapturethecurrentstatusofcloudcomputingaswellasitsfuturetrends．Keywords：cloudcompu
