3、eusedcapableofreachingthewaterfromthepointofaccesstotheship.Inprovidingforthisdueallowanceshallbemadeforallconditionsofloadingandtrimoftheshipandforanadverselistof15degrees.Wheneverthedistancefromsealeveltothepointofaccesstotheshipismorethan9m(30feet),accessfromthepilotladdertoth
4、eshipshallbebymeansofanaccommodationladderorotherequallysafeandconvenientmeans.引航员梯的安放应远离一切可能从船上落下之物，每一梯蹬应紧靠船舷，尽可能远离船舶曲度较大的部位，在引航员爬行不少于1.5m,不大于9m之后便到达通往船上的安全便利的通道。从登船点到水面应使用单梯，并且应考虑到各种装载和纵倾条件以及横倾15度的不利情况。如果从海面到登船点的距离大于9m,则自引航员梯到船上之间应用舷梯或其他相当的安全设备连接。3．Thestepsofthepilotladdershall
5、be:(1)ofhardwood,orothermaterialofequivalentproperties,madeinonepiecefreeofknots,havinganefficientnonslipsurface;thefourloweststepsmaybemadeofrubberofsufficientstrengthandstiffnessorofothersuitablematerialofequivalentcharacteristics;(2)notlessthan480mm(19inches)long,115mm(4.5inch
6、es)wide,and25mm(1inch)indepth,excludinganynonslipdevice;(3)equallyspacednotlessthan300mm(12inches)normorethan380mm(15inches)apartandbesecuredinsuchamannerthattheywillremainhorizontal.引航员梯的梯蹬因：（1）由硬木或其他具有相当特性的材料制成;每一蹬均为整块无节木料,并具有有效的防滑面.最下四蹬可由具有足够强度和硬度的橡胶或其他具有相当性质的合适材料制成.(2)长度不得小于4
