3、dthePeople’sRepublicofChina(“China”); RECALLING theFrameworkAgreementonComprehensiveEconomicCo-operation(“theFrameworkAgreement”)betweenASEANandChina(collectively,“theParties”,orindividuallyreferringtoanASEANMemberStateortoChinaasa“Party”)signedbytheHeadsofGovernment/
4、StateofASEANMemberStatesandChinainPhnomPenh,Cambodiaonthe4thdayofNovember2002andtheProtocoltoAmendtheFrameworkAgreementonComprehensiveEconomicCo-operationontheEarlyHarvestProgrammesignedbytheEconomicMinistersofthePartiesinBali,Indonesiaonthe6thdayofOctober2003; RECALL
5、ING furtherArticles2(a),3(1)and8(1)oftheFrameworkAgreement,whichreflecttheParties’commitmenttoestablishtheASEAN-ChinaFreeTradeArea(ACFTA)coveringtradeingoodsby2010forASEAN6andChinaandby2015forthenewerASEANMemberStates; REAFFIRMING theParties’commitmenttoestablishtheAS
6、EAN-ChinaFreeTradeAreawithinthespecifiedtimeframes,whileallowingflexibilitytothePartiestoaddresstheirsensitiveareasasprovidedintheFrameworkAgreement, HAVEAGREEDASFOLLOWS: ARTICLE1Definitions ForthepurposesofthisAgreement,thefollowingdefinitionsshallapplyunlesstheconte
