3、tionsourceofportandsea.NOxisageneraltermofnitrogenoxideswhichmainlycontainsNOandNO2etc.AccordingtoZeldovichmechanism,inhightemperatureandpressurecondition,nitrogenwillreactwithoxygenandbecomeNOx.Actually,inNOxproducedfromcombustioninmarinedieselengine,90
4、%contentsofNOxisNOand10%isNO2.Everyyear,peoplewillproduceover100milliontonnesofNOx,andit’sahugepollutiontotheair.Forexample,whenasupersonicairplanefliesthroughthestratosphere,itwillmakealotofNOxfromengine,andNOxwillbeharmfultoOzonelayer.NOxisalsothereaso
5、nofacidrainandrespiratorydiseaseespeciallytolungandcardiacmuscle.Therefore,someexpertssaidNOxwasmoredangerousthanSOx.Sincetheindustrialrevolutionbrakeout,pollutionhasbeenabigproblemgradually.Fortunately,humanhasrealizedtheimportanceofenvironmentprotectio
