3、moreandmoreattentionhasbeenpaidtohowSUCcessfulteachersandlearnersactuallyachievetheirgoalsduringsecondlanguageteaching.Inthecaseofteachers,ithasledtostudythekindsofstrategiesandthecognitiveprocessingstudentsuseinsecondlanguageacquisition.However,byfarafewsatisfact
4、orynumberofthesestudieshavebeendoneonvalidationofmetacognitivestrategieswithsecondlanguagelisteningtask,althoughlisteningplaysacriticalroleinsecondlanguagelearning.Onemainexplanationwasthatitwasnotaparticularstrategythatledtoimprovedperformance,butwiththecombinedo
