6、rthday.Later,hebecameinvolvedwiththeexpatriateliteraryandartisticcirclesurroundingGertrudeSteinwhenhewasworkinginParisasacorrespondentfortheTorontoStar,Hisworksduringthe1920sarerepresentativeof“theLostGeneration”.DuringtheSpanishCivilWarandlatertheSecon
7、dWordWar,Hemingwayservedasacorrespondentontheloyalistside.ThenhesettledinCubain1945.In1954,HemingwaywasawardedtheNobelPrizeof6Literatureforhis“masteryoftheartofmodernnarration”.AfterhisexpulsionfromCubabytheCastroregime,hemovedtoIdaho.Hewasincreasinglyp
