3、reimportantinthedesignofharvesting,handling,andprocessingequipment.Inthisstudy,somephysicalpropertiesofwalnut(J.sigillata)anditskernelareinvestigatedintermsoflength,width,thickness,geometricmeandiameter,sphericity,surfacearea,unitmass,volume,bulkdensityandparticledensityat
4、initialandvariousmoisturecontents,respectively.Theresultsshowthattheaveragelength,width,thickness,geometricmeandiameter,sphericity,surfacearea,unitmass,volume,bulkdensityandparticledensityofnutrangefrom38.96to37.18mm,41.04to39.66mm,34.92to33.68mm,38.22to36.76mm,93.13%to92.
5、68%,45.89to42.45cm,18.85to12.80g,29.23to26.00cm,359.50to301.89kg/m。and754。00to578.66kg/masthemoisturecontentdecreasedfrom35.7to5.3g/lO0g,whilethecorrespondingvaluesforkernel(exceptsurfacearea)are29.40to28.14mm,35.63to33.94mm,28.43to26.90mm,31.O0to29.51mm,87.25%to86.55%,11.
6、85to8.85g,15.59to13.45cm。623.68to595.96kg/mand1039.47to936.51kg/m.respectively,inthemoisturerangefrom29.8%to5.9%.Mostofthestudiedphysicalpropertiesofthiskindofwalnutanditskernelaresignificantlyaffectedbychangingmoisturecontentinthestudiedrangeexceptsphericity.Thelength,wid
