2、China)Abstract:Thephotonicbandgappropertiesofanarrayofspheresarrangedinthebody-center-cubic(BCC)structurehavebeencalculated.Thespheres&remadeupofdielectricmaterialthathasdielectricpropertiesdescribablebythepolaritonandplasmon-typedispersionrelationsh
3、ip.Wefindthataksolutephotonicgapscarlbeobtainedinbothcasesalthoughthet302structureisknowntobeunfavorablefortheformationofphotonicbandgaps.Thephotonicbandstmcturesarecalculatedbyanefficientvector—wavemultiplescatteringmethodwhichcarldealaccuratelywith
