3、plicated,beinginfluencedbymanyfactors.Manyexpertshavemaderespectablestudiesandresearchesaboutthefactorsthatinfluencethesecondlanguageacquisition,includingtheage,motivation,attitude,environmentandsoon.Studiesandanalysisonthefactorscanhelppeoplecomplywiththesefactors,regulationsa

4、ndprinciplestolearnandmastertheforeignlanguagemoreefficiently.Becauseofitscomplexityofitsinfluencefactors,thereisalwayscontroversyoverageandage-relatedfactorsinsecondlanguageacquisition(SLA)amonglinguisticeducatorsandresearchers.Researchhasrevealedagreatdealofdiversityofassumpt

5、ionsandhypotheses,somestudiesfavoringthesuperiorityofchildrenlearnersandotherspreferringadults.Here,Fmgoingtoteaseandmakefurtherstudiesontheagefactor.ForeignstudiesSomeresearchersareconvincedthatL2acquisitionisthesameprocessasLIacquisition,sochildrenandadultsfacethesameprocessw

6、hentheyareacquiringalanguage(Genesee,1976).Othersclaimthatadultlearnersareatadisadvantageonlyinafewareas,especiallyphonology(Hatch,1983;MeLaughlin,1984).Andstilltheothersbelievethatchildrenlearnerarebetterlanguagelearnersintermsoftheirsuccessinultimateattainment(Krashen,Long&Sc

7、arcella,1979).Thesignificanceofthecriticalperiodhypothesisderivedfromthestudiesontheprocessoffirstlanguageacquisitioncanneverbeignored.Inhumans,onthebasisofextantevidence,itseemsthatthereisacriticalperiodforLIacquisition;thoseunfortunatepersonswhoarenotexposedtoLIbeforepubertys
